Mohali, August 18: Raksha Bandhan – the festival of pure love of brother and sister is being celebrated with great enthusiasm by Brahma Kumaris in Mohali-Ropar Circle.
In this context 9 days, programs have been chalked out which have started on 14th August.
The programs include spiritual discourses on the significance of Rakhi in the present era.
This includes the tying of sacred thread of Rakhi in various institutions.
like Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre, Prisons, Distt Admin, Judges, Doctors, Engineers, Politicians, Social Leaders, etc.
These programs have already been started from 14th August and will continue up to 22nd August.
Sisters visited District Complex Mohali in various groups.
Brahma Kumari Premlata in Incharge Rajyoga Centres Mohali-Ropar Circle and Brahma Kumari Aman were leading the groups.
They explained the real significance and said that this festival is a symbol of great Indian civilization which promotes values in life.
She further said that it strengthens national unity and universal brotherhood and liberates mankind from clutches of vices.
