The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab termed the the ‘Gal Punjab Di’ program launched by Sukhbir Singh Badal as ‘Gupp Punjab Di’, stating that the people of Punjab understand the lies of Sukhbir Singh Badal very well and during the 2022 elections, will not fall prey to the false promises of this mafia kingpin; and on the contrary, Sukhbir Singh Badal and company will be held accountable for their 10 years of mafia rule.
Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here on Thursday, senior party leader and MLA Aman Arora termed the 13-point program presented by Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) president Sukhbir Singh Badal, as a bundle of lies and said that Sukhbir Badal must first answer these 14 questions of the people.
These questions are not about the Aam Aadmi Party but about the existence and future of Punjab and its people.
Agriculture: On the issue of anti-agriculture laws and farmers, will Sukhbir Badal explain why Harsimrat Kaur Badal as Cabinet Minister signed the ordinance of the black laws? Can you tell us how many farmers and laborers committed suicide in your state and why your (SAD-BJP) government did not supported any victim family?
Expensive Power: Will Badal tell how much brokerage he took from the private power companies brought to Punjab through deadly deals by sacrificing government thermal plants?
As a result, the state has been burdened with an additional burden of Rs 80,000 crore and why do people face power shortages in the summer despite buying very expensive power?
Unemployment: Will Badal tell what he did to end unemployment? During the 10 years of rule, 19,000 industrial units were shut down or relocated to other states.
Despite being the Food Processing Minister, Harsimrat Kaur Badal did not bring any industry to Punjab. Why was employment not promoted in government and non-government sectors?
Mafia: Sukhbir Singh Badal, the founder of sand, liquor, transport, cable, land and other mafias in Punjab; when he talks of eradicating ‘mafia’, people laugh. Does Badal think, the people are stupid?
