Chandigarh organised an ‘Investiture Ceremony’ investing in its students the responsibilities of Senate Members for the session 2021-22 following
Standard Operating Procedure in lieu of COVID 19. The newly appointed School
Senate – Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Captain, the Captains, the Vice-Captains and the Prefects of the Four Houses namely Jasmine, Lotus, Rose and Tulip were decorated with the badges.
At KB DAV-7, Investiture Ceremony is not just about providing titles, but about conferring responsibilities to the students, to take charge of the school and take to the height they desire, with their leadership, decision-making skills, communication and team work.
School Senate Members were selected through Online Senate Elections where the nominated candidates campaigned online, followed by a Google Ballot paper and the votes were cast online.
The stakeholders expressed their vision and took the oath to faithfully work for the upliftment of the school. The Principal, Mrs. Pooja Prakash congratulated the Senate Members and encouraged them to become the link in the School’s partnership with parents, students and the community.
She guided the young Torch Bearers of the school to work in harmony and craft a productive synergy by not just creating the change but by being the change.
